Farrell resigns from Publicis Groupe's SAMS division

PARIS: John Farrell has resigned from his post as president and CEO of Publicis Groupe's Specialised Agencies and Marketing Services (SAMS) division, effective July 1, 2009. Farrell has been with Publicis Groupe since 2003 when he joined as a result of the acquisition of B/Com3. Over the last five years, he's played a key role in the global mergers and acquisitions strategy, including the acquisitions of Digitas, Freud Communications, and Kekst and Company.
