IPG gains majority stake in Middle East Communication Network

NEW YORK: Interpublic Group (IPG) announced July 29 that it has acquired a majority ownership position (51%) of Middle East Communication Network (MCN). MCN has 60 offices in 14 countries and provides local clients with marketing and advertising services throughout the Middle East and North Africa, according to an IPG statement, which added that several MCN agencies are affiliated with IPG organizations, including Weber Shandwick.
