Mattia to retire from Coca-Cola

ATLANTA: Tom Mattia, Coca-Cola's SVP, worldwide public affairs and communications, will retire from the beverage company in February 2009. Clyde Tuggle, president of Coke's Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus business unit, will replace Mattia in October as the new lead of productivity and corporate affairs. Mattia will serve in an advisory capacity and assist the company on special projects until his retirement, the company said.
