MINNEAPOLIS: Beam Global Spirits and Wine has named Padilla Speer Beardsley (PSB) AOR for its Jim Beam brand. The company will work with PSB on a social media-oriented campaign.

The Beam win, along with new clients such as Golden Valley, MN-based Pentair and new opportunities with existing clients, accounted for about $3.2 million in newly acquired business for the first eight months of 2008. This figure reflects a 31% increase in new business revenue from the same period in 2007, when the company added $2.4 million, said PSB chair and CEO Lynn Casey. Work on Jim Beam began in June, though the agency announced the win in September.

She noted that last year the company had overall revenues of about $14.7 million, but wins from the first half of the year puts this year's projected growth in the upper targets of 15%.
