Michael Oldenburg, PayPal manager of corporate communications, said Access will handle all aspects of the business, including corporate, consumer, and merchant services.
He added that the AOR search was focused on doing PR in the US.
PayPal previously worked with Access on consumer work. Oldenburg declined to state the contract value.
Prior to the consolidation, Text 100 handled PR for security issues, while Bite Communications handled corporate work, he added.
Access is tasked with positioning PayPal as having “a greater value proposition than competitors in the online commerce arena,” said Susan Butenhoff, president and CEO of Access.
