Stanton Crenshaw, Abernathy MacGregor aid Neuberger acquisition

NEW YORK: Stanton Crenshaw Communications and Abernathy MacGregor Group are aiding the two private equity firms involved in the acquisition of Lehman Brothers' Neuberger Berman business and the fixed income and certain alternative asset management businesses of Lehman Brothers' Investment Management Division. Stanton Crenshaw is working with Bain Capital Partners, and Abernathy MacGregor is the contact for Hellman & Friedman. The transaction has a valuation of $2.15 billion for the businesses acquired.
