CHICAGO: CKPR has won two accounts that will likely mean more than $300,000 in new revenues for its Chicago office.
CKPR will handle PR for American Residential Services/ Rescue Rooter, a division of home-care giant ServiceMaster.
Cramer-Krasselt, CKPR's sister ad agency, won a $10 million assignment from ARS to handle advertising, direct mail, promotions, and PR. CKPR will handle the PR aspect of the assignment.
Joel Curran, MD of CKPR, expected to begin with employee communications project work. PR will also be part of new marketing efforts, he said.
The American College of Prosthodonists has also hired the firm, to help build awareness of what prosthodonists do (they are dentists who do such work as tooth replacement implants and cosmetic dentistry).
"A lot of what we will do is going to be media relations and one-on-one communications with key influencers," Curran said. The agency will also seek out speaking opportunities for the college's directors and members, and encourage interest in the field among dental students.
