NEW YORK: Five months after leaving the CEO job at FD Morgen-Walke, Bob Jones has resurfaced as the newly named head of investor relations for TMP Worldwide, the parent company of online job-listing service Monster.com.
He assumes the role of VP of investor relations, a newly created position at the company.
At TMP, Jones will be responsible for all investor-related financial- and business-communications activities, and will report directly to CFO Michael Sileck. Jones did not return a phone call seeking comment.
Jones worked for New York-based IR and PR firm Morgen-Walke for 12 years, and was CEO of FD Morgen-Walke at the time of his sudden resignation last August. His departure came just three weeks after the agency was rebranded as part of UK-based parent company Cordiant's FD International network of financial-communications firms.
Initially, FD Morgen-Walke's parent declined to fill the CEO post vacated by Jones. However, FD International head Charles Watson appointed former COO Anton Nicholas as CEO of FD Morgen-Walke in December.
