NEWS IN BRIEF: Ketchum says good-bye to director

WASHINGTON: Ketchum's Washington office is saying good-bye to a one-time director and 12-year veteran Marc Schannon. The former Monsanto corporate PR head surrendered the director's chair this past September in exchange for a role as senior counselor. Liz McLean, former associate director and technology SVP, now presides over the DC office. Schannon is said to be leaving so he can concentrate on writing a book about crisis management.
