Hallmark taps new PR head for its film and TV endeavors

NEW YORK: Hallmark Entertainment has hired Beth Nussbaum as VP of public relations.

NEW YORK: Hallmark Entertainment has hired Beth Nussbaum as VP of public relations.

She will be in charge of worldwide corporate communications for the company, as well as spearheading publicity campaigns for Hallmark Entertainment television productions. The company produces about 10 TV films and a few miniseries each year, including one film each month for the Hallmark Channel.

Nussbaum's immediate projects include handling publicity for the Hallmark production of Lion In Winter, a miniseries now filming in Budapest starring Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close.

Other upcoming projects include Dreamkeeper, a Hallmark miniseries airing in May on ABC. Nussbaum is also handling preparations for MIPTV 2003, an international market convention in Cannes where Hallmark will announce its largest slate of miniseries ever.

Nussbaum was most recently an SVP at Dan Klores Communications, where she worked on entertainment and leisure accounts including the Ken Burns series Jazz and Mark Twain, as well as the opening of W hotels.
