SAN FRANCISCO: Former Wilson McHenry VP Annie Longsworth has joined Cohn & Wolfe as SVP, and will manage its Bay Area office.

She will take over for Robin Kim, who is moving to Switzerland, and will help H&K's London office with its Hewlett-Packard account.

"The San Francisco office has a great client base," said Longsworth, referring to clients such as ChevronTexaco and Landor Associates. C&W is beefing up its Bay Area staff to help sister agency Burson-Marsteller, recently tapped by HP as one of its three agencies of record.

"I don't think this office has the awareness it deserves," Longsworth said. "One of my long-term goals is to make it more visible."

Longsworth was with Wilson McHenry from 1995 until the firm closed in 2002. She opened the San Francisco office in 2000.
