NEW YORK: Jazz at Lincoln Center, the world's largest nonprofit jazz group, has chosen Edelman as AOR to promote its new facility and upcoming season.

The Frederick P. Rose Hall, located in the new AOL Time Warner headquarters, is slated to open this fall. Edelman will handle current publicity efforts to promote the performance hall as a tourist destination and cultural center, says Edelman SVP of entertainment marketing Audrey Pass. Currently, the firm is running hard-hat tours for media, and is helping place the facility in diverse publications from architecture titles to educational and travel outlets.

"We joke a lot, saying we want to get in everything outside of Guns & Ammo," explained Jazz at Lincoln Center PR director Mary Fiance Fuss of the all-encompassing media strategy.

Edelman is also focusing on a diversity element, promoting the hall to minority audiences through outreach to schools and community organizations.
