NEW YORK: Ketchum last week named SVP Mark Malinowski to the newly created role of director of entertainment marketing for the agency's network.

Malinowski is now director of Ketchum Entertainment Marketing (KEM). Filling this position will be Tom Freydl, VP of KEM in Los Angeles. He will relocate to the New York headquarters and oversee day-to-day activity of the division, while Malinowski will continue to build partnerships within the entertainment industry.

"This move will bring entertainment marketing opportunities more fully to the programs and services we develop for clients who increasingly want to create 'brand experiences' that break through the clutter, build brand awareness, and earn brand loyalty," said Raymond Kotcher, senior partner and CEO of Ketchum.
