LOS ANGELES: Golin/Harris has promoted Judy Johnson, director of its LA and Seattle offices, to MD of the Western region.

Johnson has been MD in LA since 2001, overseeing clients such as Nintendo, Toyota, The Walt Disney Company, and Dole Food Company. Prior to that, Johnson headed the office's media, broadcast services, corporate, and technology practices. She joined the firm six years ago to head the marketing and brand-strategy practice.

The new title gives Johnson oversight of the San Francisco office, in addition to her other duties. "Judy has played a strong role in our operations since '97," said Golin CEO Fred Cook. "She's been responsible for a lot of our growth in the Western region, has a never-ending commitment to quality, product, and service, and is the embodiment of our company's vision and values to our employees.

"The LA office is consistently one of our top-performing offices worldwide," added Cook. "It's time for Judy to spread that success to a greater breadth of clients, staff, and offices."
