Horowitz returns to PwC to regain head global comms role

NEW YORK: Peter Horowitz has returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as senior managing director of global PR.

NEW YORK: Peter Horowitz has returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as senior managing director of global PR.

Horowitz left PwC in June of 2002 to assist Deloitte Consulting through a spin-off from its parent company. The spin-off never occurred because of weak financial markets. Prior to leaving, he spent 18 years at PwC.

"I've returned to the same role, but the environment for accounting and auditing has changed dramatically. With all of the new legislation, it's challenging," said Horowitz.

"In the current environment, we need to strike the right balance between global initiatives and local-market needs to support PwC's brand and business objectives," said Samuel DiPiazza Jr., CEO of PwC, in a prepared statement.
