NLHE taps Sabarra for job heading up publicity division

LOS ANGELES: New Line Home Entertainment (NLHE) has hired a new head for its publicity department.

LOS ANGELES: New Line Home Entertainment (NLHE) has hired a new head for its publicity department.

Josh Sabarra, most recently VP of media relations for Miramax, takes the title of VP of publicity at NLHE. He will work with the marketing team to publicize home entertainment releases and will act as a liaison to New Line Cinema's theatrical department to integrate PR activities. He'll also handle the unit's corporate communications. One of his first major projects is the release of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King in May. New Line also is working on the release of Texas Chainsaw Massacre later this month. Sabarra joins New Line from the Los Angeles office of Miramax, where he worked on campaigns that included The Station Agent and Cold Mountain.
