LAS VEGAS: Mikohn Gaming, makers of casino products like slot machines, has retained Financial Relations Board (FRB) to assist with its IR program.

Moira Conlon, EVP and general manager in FRB's Los Angeles office, said she and Jill Fukuhara will work on the account out of LA, and Brandi Piacente will work on it from San Francisco. FRB declined to say how much the account is worth. Mikohn Gaming, which is traded on the Nasdaq and has a market capitalization of just $116 million, recently changed its business model from owning and servicing the gaming machines to now licensing the software and the titles to the casinos, which own the hardware, said Fukuhara. FRB, a unit of Interpublic, will be working to get that story out to small-cap stock generalists and those that focus on gaming, Conlon said.
