WARSAW, POLAND: Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has opened up an office in Warsaw, the agency's first footprint in Poland.

WARSAW, POLAND: Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has opened up an office in Warsaw, the agency's first footprint in Poland.

"This is a brand new offering for Ogilvy PR," said Jeffrey Leopold, the agency's SVP of strategy and planning in New York. Piotr Kabala, the director of PR, will coordinate the office's activities. Ogilvy PR will operate as an independent entity within Ogilvy Group Poland, which also includes Gruppa66 Ogilvy, OgilvyOne, Design Direct, and Mindshare. Ogilvy PR's Warsaw office will handle services including crisis management, internal communications, and brand building. Tomasz Baluk, head of country for Ogilvy Group Poland, in a press release cited the new office as a natural progression of its services and said that the new Ogilvy PR Warsaw office will handle any PR activities requested by clients. "Launching the Ogilvy Public Relations office in Warsaw is part of a plan to accelerate the development of our regional network in Europe," Paul Barber, Ogilvy PR chief executive of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, explained in a press release. The new Ogilvy PR office joins 60 others worldwide, including 18 others in European cities, such as Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Milan, and London.
