DALLAS - Two small but well-connected firms have merged to form Levenson & Brinker Public Relations. Brinker PR's three employees joined Levenson PR's six. Combined, they expect to bill about $1.4 million this year.

Levenson, Levenson & Hill, a holding company that also owns Levenson & Hill Advertising, is majority owner of the new agency.

"We share a vision that in combining resources, we cannot only capture more opportunities but more completely serve our clients future prospects," said CEO Stan Levenson.

President Cindy Brinker is the daughter of Brinker International founder Norman Brinker and step-daughter of Nancy Brinker, who started the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Both agencies have been around since the 1980s. Levenson, a Pinnacle member agency, brings to the merger clients including Zale Corp., Central Market, and Snelling Personnel Services.

Among Brinker's client contributions are Quest Capital Management and the National School Fitness Foundation. On the staff side, Brinker brings VP and public affairs director Justin Lonon, once press secretary for former Dallas mayor Ron Kirk.
