Peppercom joins PRWeek to create 'Closing the Gap'

NEW YORK: PRWeek and Peppercom have partnered to create the "Closing the Gap" seminar series, a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at examining why gaps exist between PR and other disciplines and providing best-practice examples for overcoming those differences.

NEW YORK: PRWeek and Peppercom have partnered to create the "Closing the Gap" seminar series, a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at examining why gaps exist between PR and other disciplines and providing best-practice examples for overcoming those differences.

The first of the four seminars will take place on Tuesday, May 11 at The Waldorf Astoria in New York. It will bring together heads of corporate communications and their peers from the sales industry.

Panelists will include Charles Smith, director of worldwide PR at the consumer-imaging division of Kodak; Jeep Bryant, MD and global head of corporate communications at The Bank of New York; Steve Lampert, senior director of PR at AstraZeneca; Anthony Vela, VP of sales at Dreyfus; Lawrence Cohen, senior strategist and team leader at Steelcase; and Peter Suhr, director of product sales and development at ADP.

Subsequent panels will tackle issues in procurement, legal, and external communications. PRWeek editor-in-chief Julia Hood will serve as moderator.
