Old Navy narrows search to three firms

SAN FRANCISCO: Retailer Old Navy has narrowed its search for a US PR agency down to Burson-Marsteller, MS&L, and incumbent DeVries PR, which has worked with the company since 1999.

SAN FRANCISCO: Retailer Old Navy has narrowed its search for a US PR agency down to Burson-Marsteller, MS&L, and incumbent DeVries PR, which has worked with the company since 1999.

Select Resources International, based in Los Angeles, is managing the search.

Senior partner Dan Orsborn, who is leading the search, has said the company's growth and maturation prompted it to conduct a PR agency review.

The review should be finished by the end of September.

Old Navy, a division of Gap Inc., opened its first store in 1994, and now has more than 800 stores.
