ST. LOUIS: Integrated marketing agency Kupper Parker Communications has bought the client list of Boston-based EPS Communications.

ST. LOUIS: Integrated marketing agency Kupper Parker Communications has bought the client list of Boston-based EPS Communications.

Kupper has agreed to finish $350,000 of in-progress EPS work to purchase the client list. It plans to buy other EPS assets at a future date.

Kupper's existing Boston staff will move into EPS' office space and eventually hire existing EPS staff, bringing Kupper's total staff there to about a dozen people, said Bruce Kupper, chairman and CEO.

EPS is a "catalog design shop that fits well with our interactive group," explained Kupper. "A lot of PR agencies are doing web design and collateral materials now."

Kupper will not have any PR staffers in Boston, however. PR for Boston-area clients will be handled from its New York office, he said.

Revenues for the publicly traded Kupper are in the low- to mid-$20 million range worldwide and $12 million in the US, Kupper said. About 25% of its income - $5 million to $5.5 million - comes from PR work.
