ANN ARBOR. MI: Domino's Pizza will hear presentations in mid-October from three undisclosed finalist agencies competing for its $500,000-a-year PR account.
The firms are all large multinationals or affiliated with multinationals and have headquarters in New York and Chicago, said Tim McIntyre, Domino's VP of communications.
Domino's CEO, its EVP of communications and IR, its marketing team, and its PR team will all hear the final presentations before picking a winning agency.
Domino's has asked each firm to present ideas for how it would help launch a new product.
It's also asked that presentations be made by the person who would head the account rather than by senior executives.
Domino's started its search in July with a list of 25 agencies that it quickly narrowed to eight. The three finalists were selected based on agency capabilities and case studies of past client work given to Domino's.
McIntyre said the company wants an agency that can "get Domino's pizza in front of consumers in a way they were not expecting."
