BATTLE CREEK, MI: Cereal-maker The Kellogg Company has hired Kimberley Crews Goode for the newly created position of VP of worldwide communications.

Goode will oversee corporate communications, international communications, and US marketing communications for Kellogg. Her assignment is "to pull together our global communications efforts," she said. "I'm really pulling together a team to help the company effectively speak with one voice." Kellogg has no corporate PR agency of record. Goode will be reviewing Kellogg's communications needs and the question of agency support as she formulates communications plans for next year, she said. Goode had been VP of global communications with Prudential Insurance in Newark, NJ. She was recruited in a search run by Spencer Stuart, she said. Goode also has worked in communications with American Express and Allstate.
