FD handled Genworth's IPO and was tapped as the company's AOR last April. It continues to work for them, said Mike Kachel, Genworth VP of PR.

Peppercom had served as GE Financial's AOR since 1999, but was dropped in favor of FD in April. But about two months ago, Peppercom was rehired to handle consumer PR, said managing partner Ed Moed.

Robyn Massey, Ketchum VP of corporate media relations, confirmed that the agency is working with Genworth but declined to elaborate.

Conexion has been Genworth's Hispanic agency for about two years, said Conexion VP and cofounder Gaby Alban.
