Apex beginning IR outreach in bid to up its stock price

SALT LAKE CITY: Mining and oil company Apex Resources Group has launched an IR outreach effort aimed at boosting its stock price.

SALT LAKE CITY: Mining and oil company Apex Resources Group has launched an IR outreach effort aimed at boosting its stock price.

"Clearly Apex is a seriously undervalued entity in light of the current focus by the public, regulatory, and government agencies [on] the urgent need to tap domestic resources for fuel," explained Cynthia DeMonte of New York-based DeMonte Associates, which began working with Apex on the effort last week.

The campaign will center on reaching out to micro-cap fund managers, "high-net-worth individuals," and the financial and trade press.

DeMonte added that she also will focus on increasing executives' profiles at events and conferences.

DeMonte and Apex director John Hickey said the effort was launched now because previous efforts had been done in-house, but recent investments allowed the company to hire an outside firm. Also, "what is happening in the world today" has increased interest in "investments in domestic oil."
