DALLAS: Mike Zizzo has been named PR director for the Texas Motor Speedway. He joins from NASCAR, where he served as senior communications manager.

SEATTLE: The Washington Wine Commission has hired Regan Sheehy as the organization's new communications director. Sheehy, who joins from Edelman, will manage all external and internal communications, including promoting the state as a premier wine region and managing media relations.

NEW YORK: Child's Play Communications, which specializes in publicity and marketing efforts aimed at children, mothers, and educators, has added three new clients: Halo Productions, publisher of Simply Parenting; creator and manufacturer M.O.G. Kids; and Timber Lake Camps, a collection of day and overnight camps.
