SEATTLE: Amazon.com has concluded a three-month agency review with the decision to retain its incumbent agencies, though the accounts have shifted slightly.

New York-based Dobbin/Bolga Associates (DBA) will support the consumer electronics, home and garden, and gourmet food categories, while the MWW Group will support media products, including books, music, DVDs and videos, and software.

Prior to the search, DBA managed PR for electronics, furniture, and house-wares, while MWW handled books, movies, music, food apparel, and jewelry.

Amazon.com has not finalized the agency for the beauty, apparel, and jewelry categories, said Jani Baker, director of product PR.

Amazon.com has also selected the San Jose-based Hoffman Agency to handle the technology platform account, including its new search technology, A9. The company has yet to comment on that selection.

Fleishman-Hillard previously handled the technology account.

Amazon.com had considered eight firms for the tech account, and about 10 agencies for the product category work.
