PALO ALTO, CA: Macromedia's VP of corporate communications has left the company to rejoin the agency world.
Eileen Stanley Conway, who was with the software company for five years, has joined Citigate Cunningham as a VP. The company, whose products include Flash and Dreamweaver, is looking for her replacement.
Stanley Conway said she has always enjoyed working on the agency side, and with the tech industry showing new signs of life, she felt it was a good time to return.
"There's a lot of great new companies doing great things," said Stanley Conway. "I really love the opportunity to work with a variety of companies."
But she added that her time in-house has also been valuable, from working with product teams to helping with earnings announcements. Stanley Conway said she would bring that corporate insight to her work at Cunningham.
She will lead the Sybase account team, as well as helping the agency grow its consumer technology and mobile technology practices. Stanley Conway will report to agency president Paul Bergevin, with whom she worked at Edelman.
Before arriving at Edelman, she worked at Beaupre & Company.
