NEW YORK: VMS has launched BroadcastCenter, a web-based product that allows users to view, share, purchase, and analyze relevant broadcast clips.

Peter Wengryn, CEO of VMS, said the product has been in development for several months and has already been beta tested by several clients.

He added that the product had been under consideration for a year, but that certain improvements were necessary first. The company's recent expansion of its coverage to include all 210 US broadcast designated market areas, as well as the launch of its new digital capture network, made the product a viable option.

The new product builds upon the company's Insight product, which monitors print, broadcast, radio, and internet coverage. BroadcastCenter allows users to post and share broadcast clips, charts, and reports with other members of the PR team.
