NEW YORK: MS&L has appointed two practice leaders in its flagship office: Kelly Dencker has been promoted to director of healthcare, and Ren?e Yosco has been named director of consumer marketing. In addition, the agency has expanded its executive team in Atlanta by hiring David Langston as SVP. Langston, who in the past has worked in New York for agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Ruder Finn, and Hill & Knowlton, will oversee the office's creative and design as well as its workplace communications practices.

CORAL GABLES, FL: Thorp & Company has added five clients: TVR Communications, Ecometry, Experian, Woolbright Development, and the Bakehouse Art Complex.

NEW YORK: Ortec Intl. has hired Elite Financial Communications Group to manage its new IR program. Ortec is a tissue-engineering company involved in the commercialization of a proprietary and patented technology to stimulate human tissue repair and regeneration.

WASHINGTON: J.D. Byrider, a franchise network of used- car dealerships, and Caribbean Winds, an online travel reservation system for adventure water sports, have both selected The Aker Partners to assist with their PR and marketing efforts.

SAN DIEGO: The New York-based lifestyle division of Formula, a national PR boutique, has been selected by N.O.A., a European luxury brand watchmaker, to launch a media relations program focused on building brand awareness and increasing product exposure.

MILWAUKEE: Boelter & Lincoln Marketing Communications has been selected as AOR for Potawatomi Bingo Casino. The marketing communications firm will provide a full range of PR services, including media training and consulting.

BELLEVUE, CA: Jeff Hasen has joined InfoSpace as PR director for the company's search and directory division. Before joining InfoSpace, Hasen was president of WongDoody Communications. Earlier this year, the search and mobile technology company selected Access Communications as its new agency.


MAHWAH, NJ: Radware has retained FitzGerald Communications as its AOR. The company develops hardware and application-switching software that helps customers manage traffic on their networks more efficiently. FitzGerald will focus on analyst and media relations, speaking engagements, and a sales-force program.


BOSTON: Lewis PR has appointed Claire Rowberry as VP of strategic development. She will focus on expanding the agency's East Coast presence. Rowberry previously served as associate director and head of Octane, a division of Lewis in England focused on managing consumer and business campaigns.

SAANICHTON, BRITISH COLUMBIA: ACD Systems has chosen Citigate Cunningham as its new agency. The company develops digital image management software.

BOULDER, CO: Metzger Associates has launched a new media practice to help clients understand and use new communications technologies, including blogs, RSS feeds, and podcasting.

SAN MATEO, CA: Thunder Factory has signed three new clients - financial services software company Yodlee, security software company Fortify Software, and bail-bond surety company AIA.
