NEW YORK: Factiva has introduced Factiva Insight: Reputation Intelligence, a product that monitors and analyzes blogs and other consumer-generated media.
"There's no doubt that blogs and consumer-generated content on the internet are a very powerful force from a PR and marketing perspective," said Alan Scott, CMO of Factiva.
Through a partnership with Intelliseek, the product will monitor 4 million of the most influential and heavily trafficked blogs and other forms of consumer generated media. It also includes content from 9,000 traditional media sources and more than 11,000 websites.
The latest offering adds Factiva to a growing list of companies - including Bacon's, Biz 360, and Cymfony - that provides such services.
Scott said the product also lets users tie company PR strategies with such business outcomes as share price, sales revenues, and internal data, such as lead generation and customer calls.
