for its North American health practice.

Nancy Turett, previously deputy regional director of Edelman’s New

York/Boston operations, will now serve as president of Edelman Health

North America, a newly created position. She will report to company vice

chairman Leslie Dach.

The agency veteran will lead the agency’s health practice in the US and

Canada.

Turett joined Edelman in 1988 as vice president, rising to SVP group

head in 1990. Under her guidance, the New York health practice grew from

30 to 100 specialists.

Edelman’s health clients include Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, American

Home Products, Hoffmann-La Roche and Glaxo Wellcome.
