WASHINGTON, DC: Earle Palmer Brown/Kaufman Public Relations

bolstered its DC hi-tech profile last week by adding Digital Access and

BrightOptions.com to its client roster.

Phil Armstrong, partner and general manager of EPB/Kaufman’s Washington

office, said the new additions give the firm a chance to expand its

experience in telecom and energy. ’Based on our existing clients and

prospects, we need to build our credentials in both of these sectors

this year.’

Digital Access is a multimedia digital communications company that

offers three bundled products in Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee

and Nashville.

In four of those markets, the Philadelphia-based company is investing

dollars 1.3 billion to build a state-of-the-art system providing

business and residential customers with local and long-distance

telephone service, digital television and high-speed Internet access.

The EPB/Kaufman campaign will involve public affairs and a national

communications campaign, including branding and online marketing.

BrightOptions.com, based in Rosslyn, VA, helps consumers choose the most

appropriate energy provider for their residential or business needs.

EPB/Kaufman has been charged with a fully integrated effort, including

PR and Internet advertising.
