BETHESDA, MD: Snyder Communications, the parent company of Arnold PR, has been acquired by French ad agency Havas for approximately dollars 2.1 billion - a number some experts say is three to four times what the company is worth. Chairman and CEO Daniel Snyder, who also owns the NFL’s Washington

Redskins, is leaving the agency, but Arnold founder and chairman Ed

Eskandarian is expected to stay on.

According to Havas chairman Alain de Pouzilhac, there are no client

conflicts resulting from the acquisition. Havas’ PR agencies are

separated by division, with Arnold as the lead agency of the campus

division; Creamer Dickson Basford as part of the Diversified Agencies

Group; and Euro RSCG as its own network.
