manages the nationwide network of CART races, has named Nate Siebens

media public relations manager. He was formerly a reporter at

Championship Racing magazine.





SAN FRANCISCO: Business Wire has tapped Mark Wehrmeister, most recently

IT manager for Bio-Rad Laboratories, to fill the newly created post of

director of Web services.





BOSTON: Cone has hired Rick Champagne, who previously worked at American

Power Conversion, as a recruiting manager. Cone has also named Scott

Beaudoin as director of the firm’s media services practice.





NEW YORK: Leslie Cohen has joined travel and tourism boutique Laura

Davidson PR as SVP. Previously, she was an SVP at Porter Novelli, where

she ran the firm’s travel group and supervised accounts for Southwest

Airlines and the Bermuda Department of Tourism.
