Holocaust Museum

WASHINGTON, DC: The United States Holocaust Museum is attempting to build a communications department - but is doing so in a somewhat roundabout manner. As it continues its six-month-old quest for a director of communications, the museum has initiated a search for a deputy director of communications and media relations. The director job was widely advertised late last year and attracted about 40 candidates, but the museum abruptly scrapped the search. At the time, acting director of human resources Leslie Curley said that none of the 40 candidates were qualified. Anyone interested in applying for the deputy post must do so by July 23.
