Environmental communications manager Terry Bresnihan becomes

communications manager of Ford Division, the world’s largest

brand-marketing organization.

Additionally, truck vehicle center PR head Brenda Hines has been upped

to regional news manager, a post in which she will oversee the company’s

seven regional PR offices (NY, DC, LA, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and

Dallas).

Both report to Anne Doyle, named director of communications for Ford’s

North American Operations in March.

At the time of Doyle’s promotion (she had previously held the post

filled by Bresnihan), Francine Romine-McBride was placed in the Ford

Division role. However, Romine-McBride was on maternity leave at the

time and has elected to extend that indefinitely, according to executive

director of corporate communications Jim Vella.

Bresnihan joined Ford 14 years ago after stints as a speechwriter for

Reagan cabinet member Donald Regan and as director of PR for Beatrice

Foods. Prior to his environmental communications stint at Ford, he was a

speechwriter and served as corporate news manager.

Hines joined Ford 10 years ago as a contract employee in the company’s

closed-circuit TV operation.
