AOL Europe grabs vet for prexy post

LONDON: AOL Europe has named international marketing exec Andrei Bogolubov as SVP and chief communications officer. He replaces Bill Burrington, who was shifted into a SVP role in AOL’s international division.

Bogolubov as SVP and chief communications officer. He replaces Bill

Burrington, who was shifted into a SVP role in AOL’s international

division.



Based in London, Bogolubov will oversee corporate communications for AOL

Europe. He reports to AOL International president Michael Lynton, who is

also acting CEO for AOL Europe.



Bogolubov joins from communications consultancy AB IMAGE, which he

co-founded in Moscow. Before that, he served as president of Russian

operations for global advertising agency Bozell Worldwide and as an SVP

at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery in New York.



AOL Europe operates in nine countries and four languages across the

continent.
