LONDON: Manning, Selvage & Lee has hired Janette Hughes away from Bayer AG to serve as director of healthcare/Europe. Hughes, formerly Bayer’s VP and head of strategic product marketing/analysis, has been charged with growing the firm’s European healthcare presence. NEW YORK: Dun & Bradstreet has announced the retirement of long-time SVP

and chief communications officer Bill Doescher, effective December 31.

Doescher, who worked for D&B for nearly 22 years, plans to work as a

consultant and teach at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of

Public Communications.
