LH3 has inked deals with Net appliance company Qubit Technology and Pixxures, a provider of mapping technology. The firm also has launched a series of what agency founder Lauri Harrison has dubbed 'SchmoozeIt!' events - networking meetings that allow the firm to introduce clients to venture capitalists and other hi-tech players.

Yahoo! has signed on as the main sponsor of the Denver SchmoozeIt! and plans to Webcast the event. Other meetings are being planned in Hawaii, Chicago and Salt Lake City, with a combination of national and local sponsors picking up the tab.

LH3 is hoping to have six clients on retainer by the end of the year and is shooting for fee income of dollars 1 million by next summer. The company has partnered with two Web development firms, expecting additional referral business.

LH3 formally opened its doors in May when founder Lauri Harrison linked up with partners Donna Crafton and Jennifer Hofmeister. Crafton boasts a PR background, while Hofmeister has advertising and marketing experience.

The trio met working for Trip.com
