Bottled water win for Strat@comm

WASHINGTON, DC: The International Bottled Water Association has chosen Strat@comm over five other agencies for its six-figure PR business.

While IBWA VP of communications Stephen Kay declined to name the finalists for the account, Fleishman-Hillard is believed to have been one of them.

Kay also refused to reveal the organization's annual PR budget, saying only, 'It's in the six-figure range.'

Kay has charged Strat@comm with a range of PR and public affairs tasks, including issues management and product positioning. Although the association's members are spread across the globe, Kay said the agency will focus on domestic issues.

IBWA members produce and distribute over 85% of the bottled water in the US.
