Dream Catcher, now at number 13 in The New York Times bestseller list, has caused a storm of controversy because of Salinger's description of her miserable childhood as the daughter of Catcher In The Rye author JD Salinger.

Goldberg was hired by Pocket Books to oversee media strategy for the title. Founder Lynn Goldberg is known for her work on controversial books such as Andrew Morton's Monica's Story.

The book has already garnered coverage from The Washington Post to the Chicago Tribune and Salinger also appeared on the Today show.

Goldberg also is working on media scheduling for the author of a new book about Jackie Kennedy, published by Viking. British author Sarah Bradford has signed an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters to air on ABC's 20/20 on October 2. USA Today has snapped up serial rights ahead of the publication date, October 23.
