The DuVernay Agency wins film business

LOS ANGELES: The DuVernay Agency, a boutique firm specializing in urban and ethnic entertainment, has won the PR business for four new films.

LOS ANGELES: The DuVernay Agency, a boutique firm specializing in urban and ethnic entertainment, has won the PR business for four new films.

DuVernay will handle campaigns for 'Spy Kids,' a Miramax/Dimension film starring Antonio Banderas slated to open in March; 'The Brothas,' a Sony/Screen Gems film starring DL Hughley and Bill Bellamy released on February 23; 'The Visit,' another Sony film starring Billy Dee Williams and Rae Dawn Chong hitting screens in January 2001; and 'Wes Craven Presents Dracula 2000,' a Miramax production starring Jennifer Esposito and Omar Epps, opening December 26, 2000.
