Autoweb account turns up at MWW

SANTA CLARA, CA: Autoweb, one of the first and largest online car sales and information outfits, has handed its dollars 400,000 corporate PR and investor relations business to The MWW Group's New York City office.

SANTA CLARA, CA: Autoweb, one of the first and largest online car sales and information outfits, has handed its dollars 400,000 corporate PR and investor relations business to The MWW Group's New York City office.

MWW won the account in a competitive review against undisclosed agencies.

In the past, the Santa Clara company has worked with Stapleton for IR and Porter Novelli for PR. However, chief marketing officer Nadyne Edison, who joined in June, said that Autoweb's needs had evolved past those served by traditional agencies.

'We are already an established Internet brand, and I was looking for an agency that could offer integrated operations on every level, from PR, IR and even collateral materials,' she explained. 'I can see the relationship expanding to take advantage of their public affairs and creative services.'
