Sometimes reality can spoil the most positive of PR moments. The Chicago media was enjoying promoting the fact that the Windy City ranked among the US' top 10 best-mannered cities in a survey issued November 24 by etiquette guru Marjabelle Young Stewart.

The confrontation came as the man tried to rob his grandmother, using her own gun to hold her up at an ATM. A police officer and the grandmother were wounded during the incident.
