Most recently a partner at BSMG in Boston, St. John came to C&W as an EVP in October 2000.

Terry Wade, C&W's most recent Washington office CEO, vacated the post last month after a promotion to EVP worldwide. He will head up the firm's new global affairs practice.

St. John was hired by Wade himself back in October after a seven-year stint with BSMG. During her time at that firm in Boston, she worked on the successful effort to win legislative approval for a new stadium for the Red Sox.

St. John served as director of communications at the Republican National Committee from 1987-1988, during which time Campaigns and Elections magazine named her one of its 'rising stars in politics.' She has also served as a consultant to the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Department of Energy and the US Department of Education.
