LONDON: Pharmaceutical giant Roche has appointed Ketchum in the UK to handle the international brief for its HIV products.

LONDON: Pharmaceutical giant Roche has appointed Ketchum in the UK to handle the international brief for its HIV products.

The agency won the account following a four-way pitch that including four-year incumbent Hill & Knowlton.

Ketchum has formed a seven-member team to work on the account, including staff from London and Paris. The team will be jointly headed by healthcare director Jean Kilshaw and group account director Stephanie Capuano, who are both based in London.

Ketchum will also promote Roche's oncology prescription drugs in the UK. They include Herceptin, which treats breast cancer, MabThera for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Xeloda for bowel cancer.
