Ziff Davis creates magazine PR arm

NEW YORK: Ziff Davis Media has created a PR department to service

its growing roster of consumer magazines, which includes Yahoo! Internet

Life, Expedia Travels and Family PC. The new division, which will

consist of three members, will be headed by Diane Stefani, PR director

for Yahoo!

Internet Life, who will add the latter two publications to her list of

duties.

PR manager Honey Nachman will continue to work on Family PC, but will

now report to Stefani. Two other publicists join the department: Amy

Peck from Connors Communications and former theater publicist Evan

Shapiro.

The move signals the end of full-time agency relationships with Susan

Magrino Agency, which helped launch Expedia Travels and Wheeler Baird

which worked with Family PC.
