LOS ANGELES: Shoe and sportswear maker Vans has picked Weber
Shandwick Worldwide as agency of record for its dollars 350,000 account.
A team from WSW in LA will handle media efforts and support Vans
initiatives, including the opening of skateboard parks across the
country. A second team from WSW's affiliate, Rogers & Cowan, will target
the entertainment business and handle PR for a documentary film
underwritten by Vans about the Southern California skateboarding scene
in the 1970s.
